The Elephant Sanctuary
The Elephant Sanctuary offers members of the public the opportunity of interacting with the majestic elephants. Small groups of people can take part in a hands-on educational tour of these amazing majestic animals. Since these animals are aggressive and intimidating in the Kruger National Park, it is a totally surreal experience to have a hands-on experience with these majestic animals.
The staff at the Elephant Sanctuary are very dedicated and care for the elephants. The staff use positive reinforcement training methods and because of this the elephants are very docile and relaxed with the interactive guests.
Skyway Trails
Skyway Trails offers two different, action packed adventures in the form of Aerial Cable Trail and Tree Top Challenge. Ziplining across the sky, between the trees and above the ground is one of the closest anyone can come to flying. In the Zipline Trail you get to zip through one of the last remaining natural forest valleys in the form of the Sabie valley, that is adjacent to the Kruger National Park.
The Tree Top Challenge is an obstacle course located high in the trees. The Course is made up of poles and ropes connected between the trees. The interconnecting poles and ropes for a giant floating jungle gym in the trees. These amazing and exhilarating experience is suitable for the young and old.

Safaris
The Kruger National Park is one of South Africa’s top tourist attractions and is a world-famous site. There is no other feeling like taking self-drive through the Kruger National Park and experiencing all the unique and wonderful sites and sounds the Park is famous for. You can also take part in a Kruger Park Tour from various Safari Companies found in and around the Kruger National Park to experience the Park with educated and experienced guides.
Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre
The Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre (HESC) is a very unique Wildlife Sanctuary that focuses on sustaining and conserving the rare wildlife species of Africa. HESC focusses on restoring the population of rare animals by breeding them with a focus of Genetic biodiversity. They also focus on the educating of students, the general public and learners to enlighten them on the conservation and conservation related activities and what in involves.
Animals found injured in the wild are also taken to the Centre to take part in the rehabilitation programs so they can be released back into the wild. An important fact is that the Centre also contributes in Anti-Poaching initiatives on the Kapama Reserve. They provide a safe sanctuary for rhinos that have been negatively affected by poaching.
Moholoholo Animal Rehab Centre
The Moholoholo Rehab Centre is located in the shadow of the Drakensberg, Mariepskop. The Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre is the home of animals that have been injured, poisoned and abandoned by a variety of situations. Moholoholo Animal Rehab Centre has many permanent residences as a result of the animals being unable to be sent back into the wild because of their injuries. The Rehab centre is famous for successfully breeding and reintroducing 160 servals back into the wild.
Perry’s Bridge Reptile Park
The Perry’s Bridge Reptile Park is one of South Africa’s largest reptile parks and also has one of the largest collections of reptiles in the country. The Park is a very popular destination when traveling in the lowveld. The Reptile Park is located in the centre of Mpumalanga in the Province’s Town of Adventure: Hazyview. Just 70 km outside of Nelspruit, there are plenty of activities to do in the area that can make a day in Mpumalanga fun and very worth it.
